  • What is included in "The Emotionally Intelligent Leader" course?

    Developing leadership skills is dependent on self-reflection and individualized learning experiences. The course is comprised of five modules that will get you to dig deep into your leadership purpose, a 360 assessment tool that will help you identify your strengths and areas of growth, and an action plan for frequent experimentation of new behaviours that will support and develop your leadership competencies.

  • What is included in "Leading with Resiliency and Agility" course?

    In today’s workplace, managers are overburdened. The resulting chaotic nature of a manager’s work makes the job very complex and challenging. Being resilient and agile are critical leadership competencies. The course consists of five modules that include an assessment of your current levels of resiliency and agility, a learning agenda that will improve your resiliency and agility, and an action plan for frequent experimentation of new behaviours that will support and develop your ability to bounce back from adversity and adapt to continuous change.

  • How long do I have to complete the course or courses in the bundle?

    Developing emotional intelligence and resiliency & agility takes intentional effort and practice, which occurs over a period of time. That is why you will have full year access to each course. That means, you can revisit the course as many times as you need within a one year period. We have learned from our previous learners that after completing the course they felt more confident in seeking a promotion, which they were successful in achieving! As a result, they went back into the course to reassess and establish new leadership developmental goals based on their new position.

  • How are these courses different than other leadership online courses?

    As mentioned above, developing emotional intelligence and resiliency & agility takes intentional effort and practice, which occurs over a period of time. Other company's online, self-paced courses focus on only on attaining knowledge. These type of course formats are great in acquiring new knowledge, but do very little to influence and improve performance. Our courses are designed in a format that will allow you to engage in deep self-reflection and an opportunity to receive feedback on your areas of strength and improvement, and active experimentation of your newly acquired skills.

  • What if need some extra support to transfer the knowledge and skills I learned from the course on the job?

    As part of each course, you will have access to a learning accompaniment, called a GAP Plan, which stands for Goal/Action/Proof. Throughout the course you will engage in self-reflection activities that will contribute to insights, knowledge, and areas of personal growth you would like to develop. The areas of personal growth you will identify can be used to create your GAP action plan, which will support the integration of your knowledge into your real life in the coming weeks and months ahead. In addition, we offer exclusive one-on-one coaching to our learners. Coaching is ideal for individuals who would like to develop deep growth and self-exploration to improve their performance. Individuals will work with a coach to develop strategies to tackle current challenges they are facing in their unique work context.

Relevant content to work and personal life

Some of the “take home” information that I found quite useful (that stuck), were related to the SMART and GAP acronyms. I was able to relate to them not only to regarding my work environment, but in my personal life as well.

Developing a new level of self-awareness

The “Four Energy Domains” were also quite useful to me as I have never broken down “stress” before, recognizing the symptoms regarding each domain. So very helpful when developing self awareness.

Venturing outside my comfort zone

I have to say, the information that caused me to pause and say….”I love this” was once sentence near the end. “Venturing outside of your comfort zone encompasses risk, which can lead to making mistakes. Making mistakes is a part of life and one of the crucial ways human beings learn.” For some reason, that really struck home.

A unique perspective that allows for reflection on previous knowledge

A lot of online courses are primarily text based, and feel like they should have been a book rather than a course. Your course felt like an actual learning experience as it flowed from text to video to exercises, and that kept it engaging.
