Trainer of Choice Program Development
Sinogap Solutions partnered with Women Building Futures (WBF) to create the Trainers of Choice (TOC) Program, ensuring training providers align with WBF’s values of safety and inclusion. Alberta Traffic Safety Services
Organization Design & Implementation
Sinogap Solutions conducted a comprehensive analysis for Alberta Traffic Safety Services to identify synergies and efficiencies across their division. By examining the division holistically, we uncovered overlapping activities, duplications of effort, and gaps in functions. The outcome was a fully designed new organizational structure and a change management plan based on Sinogap Solutions' proven methodology. Throughout the year-long project, we partnered and worked closely with senior leadership to ensure employees led the process, following change management principles that increased their commitment and engagement. Our support included developing a detailed project and change management plan, implementing strategic communication, and facilitating sessions that fostered buy-in from staff at every level, ultimately resulting in a more efficient and cohesive organization.
Municipal District of Pincher Creek
Organizational Culture Review
Sinogap Solutions conducted an in-depth organizational review for the Municipal District of Pincher Creek, focusing on the psychosocial factors that shape the organization's culture. Our goal was to gain a comprehensive understanding of these factors to identify opportunities for improvement and growth. By analyzing the 13 factors of psychological health and safety, we worked closely with senior leadership to create a more conducive and productive environment for both employees and stakeholders. The insights gained from this review provided actionable recommendations to enhance the organizational culture, fostering a healthier, more supportive workplace.
Government of Saskatchewan Police College
Provincial Leadership Development
Sinogap Solutions partnered with Saskatchewan Police College to develop and deliver two leadership training programs: Introduction to Police Management and Senior & Executive Police Management. Taking over from previous offerings, including the renowned Leadership in Police Organizations (LPO) program by the International Association of Chiefs of Police, we conducted a thorough evaluation after delivering these programs over a two-year period. Participants reported significant value in their learning experience, highlighting increased strength-based skills, an easy-to-follow course design, and engaging facilitation. Many noted that the training positively influenced their leadership behaviors, such as confidence, communication, and strategic thinking, with practical assignments being directly applicable to their roles. Based on participant feedback, we made continuous improvements to the programs, including enhancing workbook layouts, incorporating more practical examples, and adjusting the program duration to better meet the needs of each cohort.
Canadian Police Knowledge Network
National Law Enforcement Leadership Training
Sinogap Solutions collaborated with the Canadian Police Knowledge Network (CPKN) to enhance a national law enforcement online leadership program. We conducted a comprehensive review of the existing curriculum and provided targeted recommendations for improvement. Additionally, we designed, implemented, and evaluated a nationwide virtual workshop series tailored for law enforcement agencies, including First Nations law enforcement across Canada. Our efforts ensured the program and workshops were more impactful, relevant, and accessible, helping to elevate leadership skills across diverse law enforcement communities.
